The Town of Collingwood Seeks:
Administrative Assistant, Building Services (Full-Time)

Reporting to the Chief Building Official/Manager, Building Services, the Administrative Assistant, Building Services receives and reviews various permit applications.  This position provides administrative support to the Building Division which includes preparing correspondence, reports and meeting agendas/minutes, power point presentations, update website, assisting in the issuance and managing of permits and receiving applications, responding to enquiries, screening calls, making arrangements for meetings and amenities, mail sorting and distribution, file maintenance, and the performance of other support duties as assigned.  The position is often responsible for all inquiries in the absence of the Building Officials.
 
Normal hours of work will be thirty-five (35) hours per week, usually Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; flexibility in scheduling is necessary to attend the occasional evening meeting or event as required.  Salary range for the position is $47,115.73 to $57,248.76 per year.
