Customer Service Ambassadors (Full-Time)

Reporting to the Deputy Clerk, Customer Service Ambassadors perform various tasks associated with providing exceptional customer service and information to the public regarding all Town services.  The position responds to customer complaints and inquiries, researches information, liaises with internal staff and contracted service providers regarding investigations, then facilitates responses with the public accordingly.  This is a critical function to act as an ambassador for the Town in dealings with the public and display a positive image at all times.
 
This position is also responsible for handling payment transactions with customers, payment application, and initial customer inquiries regarding taxation.  These responsibilities may be expanded and evolve to include more service opportunities as required.  Main duties and responsibilities are in the areas of customer service support, cashier services, and other duties and responsibilities for the Department.
 
Normal hours of work are thirty-five (35) hours per week, usually Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, this position may be assigned to an occasional evening or weekend shift to expand customer service hours.  The salary range for this position is $44,462.60 to $54,017.60 per year (under review).
