The City of Cornwall is seeking a Program Supervisor for Ontario Works under the Social & Housing department. Reporting to the Administrator of Social & Housing Services, the Program Supervisor is responsible for providing support, coaching and guidance to the Case Manager and Administrators who assist those applying for Ontario Works benefits and the referral of these individuals to local human services agencies and other pertinent Government programs. The role will develop case plans through the adjudication process and assist with case decisions.
Our ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field along with a minimum of 5 years of experience; must have Supervisory experience; possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, delegation and problem-solving skills; strong research and computer skills; experience with Ontario Works or related Ministry programs; knowledge of SAMS and bilingualism will be considered assets.
The Corporation of the City of Cornwall offers a competitive starting salary of $82,654 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
