The City of Niagara Falls is seeking a City Solicitor that would be responsible for providing legal advice and services to City Council and the Corporation. Reporting to the CAO, in this highly visible and influential role, the City Solicitor will combine dynamic leadership, financial acumen, public relations, and policy administration skills to develop and deliver outstanding legal services to the City of Niagara Falls. 
 
The City Solicitor at the City of Niagara Falls is required to be a dynamic, detail oriented, seasoned leader with strong political acumen. Additionally, they must possess exceptional interpersonal and trust-building skills, the ability to build and support collaborative teams as well as foster strong relationships with elected officials, the CAO and the rest of the Senior Management Team within the City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region in general.
 
You have proven to be a confident, dynamic and engaging leader and a strategic thinker with strong team building skills, who has also demonstrated success in building effective relationships with external stakeholders especially tribunals and Council. Having completed your graduation from Law School with membership in the Law Society of Ontario, you also have a minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible management experience in Municipal Government or related environments.
