Network Specialist
 
The Corporation of the City of North Bay is inviting applications for the position of Network Specialist.  As a member of the Information Systems team you will possess strong technical, organizational and interpersonal skills in order to deliver networking, security and datacenter expertise in a service-delivery focused team approach (ITIL).
 
Qualifications:
 
  • University Degree or College Diploma in computer studies
  • Three (3) years previous related work experience
  • Experience in a service-delivery framework such as ITIL
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of networking and security hardware and software technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in the deployment of Intel/Microsoft server Hardware, Software and Applications in a datacenter environment
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and timelines
  • Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco and other recognized technical certifications preferred
  • Must possess a valid “G” Ontario Driver’s License and have a vehicle available for use on the job
