Are you ready to help operate the machinery of government for Canada's largest municipality?  Are you a tenured leader with experience coaching, engaging and developing employees?  The City Clerk's Office is hiring three (3) Managers reporting to the Deputy Clerk, Secretariat:
The Manager, Committees and Boards, oversees a team in managing the meetings of Council's committees and selected boards, tribunals and advisory committees.  This team supports over 375 meetings of 90 different bodies every year. This includes administering planning notices and appeals for City-wide matters.
The Manager, Community Councils and Registry Services oversees a team in the managing the meetings of the community councils and the delivery of counter services including marriage licenses and burial permits.  This includes administering public notices and various appeals to City and provincial tribunals.
The Manager, Legislative Information and Standards oversees a team in providing policy, project, communications, training and other supports to all of the Secretariat unit.  This includes the management of an in-house IT team that develops and sustains key systems including the Toronto Meeting Management Information System.
We're looking for experienced managers or leaders with high degrees of political acuity who can manage people, issues, information and relationships with a complex network of stakeholders, in addition to the assigned portfolio of programs.
