HYDROGEOLOGIST, MONITORING OR SOURCE PROTECTION MJ10080ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENTENVIRONMENTAL PROMOTION AND PROTECTION BRANCHLocation: NewmarketFull-Time, Approximately 1 yearSalary $46.14 - $50.16 per hourReporting to the Manager, Water Resources, is responsible for source water protection or groundwater/well performance monitoring activities; conducting studies including collecting, monitoring, analyzing and reporting of data; appearing for the Region as expert witness at OMB and other related hearings; leading and implementing programs; co-ordinating initiatives with agencies to identify collaborative activities with Regional projects; conducting presentations, workshops and other activities and facilitating communications to stakeholders; and providing guidance, training, mentoring, and coordinating, assigning, scheduling and checking the work of assigned staff.
