Environmental Services Department for an experienced and motivated individual
Serviceperson I – Water
(Contract – Up to 24 Months)

In accordance with all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal Acts and Regulations, responsible for maintenance and repair of waterworks infrastructure including valves, pumps, hydrants, meters, chambers, and any other appurtenances, necessary for the operation of a complete system.
Qualifications and experience:
  • Grade 12 graduate or equivalent.
  • Hold and maintain a valid Water Distribution "Operator-in-Training" Licence and willingness to obtain a Water Distribution Level 1 Operator license or higher.
  • Hold and maintain a valid Water Meter Installers Certification in accordance with the Apprenticeship and Certification Act.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing fundamentals.
  • Eligible for training in Confined Space Entry.
  • Valid Class "G" drivers licence, in good standing.
